  • Are dancers required to attend the convention to be eligible to compete?
    • Dancers are required to be registered for the full, two day convention to be eligible to compete, but dancers are not required to compete to attend the convention.

  • Are observer bands available for purchase onsite?
    • Limited Observer Bands are available for purchase onsite at the events. A "Season" band is $120 and will grant you access to any city throughout the 2019-2020 regional season. A "Weekend" band is available for $60 and grants you access to a single event. We recommend purchasing observer bands prior to the event for discounted rates.

  • Do you allow independent registrations?
    • We proudly accept independent registrations for the convention portion of the weekend, but your dancer will need to be registered under a studio account, by the studio owner/director, to be eligible to compete.

  • Do we need observer bands to be able to watch competition?
    • No, competition is open to anyone and you will not need to wear an observer band.

  • Do you offer refunds?
    • Adrenaline and Revive Dance do not offer refunds. You will be given a credit on your account, that never expires, and can be used towards an event in the future. Please note each event is a separate company, so Adrenaline credits can only be used towards Adrenaline events and Revive credits can only be used at Revive events.

  • Can my dancer use their Adrenaline scholarship at Revive or vice versa?
    • Unfortunately not, each event is a separate company, so Adrenaline regional scholarships can only be used towards Adrenaline regional events and Revive regional scholarships can only be used at Revive regional events. Please note Adrenaline and Revive scholarships can be used towards The National Dance Honors and Core: The Movement Destination.

  • How long are the early fees in affect?
    • The early fees for convention and competition will remain in effect until 30 days prior to the event. Please keep in mind if your balance is not paid in full by this deadline all fees will be switched over to the late fees. No exceptions.

  • How many routines can each studio bring?
    • Each studio is eligible to bring up to 75 routines. These are subject to availability and on a first come first served basis.

  • How many solos is each dancer allotted?
    • Each registered dancer is eligible to compete one solo per regional event.

  • Can my dancer compete the same solo at more than one regional event in the same season?
    • Yes, dancers may compete the same solo at as many regional events as they choose in any given season.

  • Do I need permission from my studio director, to apply a scholarship my dancer earned at their previous studio to the studio she attends currently?
    • Yes, we will need an email from the studio director in which your dancer received their scholarship,  granting you permission to use this scholarship at the dancers current studio. Once we have permission from the previous director, we will be happy to apply the dancers scholarship towards their current registration.

  • Do you offer a live feed?
    • Yes, we will offer a live feed of the competition at our regional events. Please note this is subject to the wifi and speed of service we have at the venue and is not always guaranteed.

  • Can one-day convention dancers compete?
    • Unfortunately one day attendees are not eligible to compete at our events. All competing dancers will need to be registered for the full two day workshop. Please note one day dancers are not eligible for scholarships.

  • Will I be able to receive the final event documents if any of my registered dancers have outstanding waivers?
    • Unfortunately not. We will need your balance paid in full and to have received a waiver from each registered dancer for you to be eligible to receive the final show documents.

  • Can my dancer be bumped up or down a convention room level? How does this affect their competition level?
    • We will be able to adjust a dancers convention room level with permission of the account holder. Please note if your dancer moves up a level, they will need to remain in that level throughout the entire weekend, including auditions. If you decide to move your dancer down a level, they will no longer be eligible for scholarships. Moving a dancer up or down in convention room will not affect their level in which they compete. Competition levels are determined strictly by age at Adrenaline and Revive events.

  • Does my director have to be present at the event, if we are the only ones from the studio attending?
    • No, your director does not have to attend the event with you and your independent dancer. You will be able to visit the registration desk upon arrival and we can give you your dancer’s packet.

  • Can we register onsite?
    • You will not be able to register for competition onsite, but registering for convention will be subject to availability and vary from city to city. If space allows, you will be able to register for the convention onsite at the registration desk and make payment with cash, card, or cashier’s check only.

  • What is the Revue?
    • The Revue is a weekend recap of the event. Scholarships will be given out, the City Crew will perform, and there might be some special performances. This event will end around 4:00 PM on the final day of the event.

  • Do you provide hard copies of the competition order/ event schedules?
    • We have gone green! All event schedules will be available online for you to view 7 days prior to the start of the event.

  • When will we know the competition layout?
    • Directors will be sent an email including the tentative event schedules 3 weeks prior to the start of the event. This information will be sent to the email we have on file for the directors to distribute as they please.

  • I didn’t upload my music online, can I use my phone?
    • We would prefer you upload your dancers music, to your online portal, the Thursday prior to the event. If this didn't get uploaded, you are more than welcome to bring a CD or USB to the event with your dancers music on it. Please make sure you only have one song per CD/USB and make sure they are labeled accordingly. Please bring a backup.

  • Can I take photos or video during competition?
    • We do not allow photos or videos to be taken during our competition. Visual Tech Productions will be there to take photos and videos of every routine and these will be available for purchase after the event.

  • How big is the competition stage?
    • The size of the competition stage will vary from city to city. Stage sizes range from 44 x 32 to 56 x 40. This information will be included in the final documents email you will receive 7 days prior to the event.

  • What is the latest date to make any competition/ convention adjustments?
    • The last day to make any adjustments/ additions to your registration will be the Wednesday a week before the event. Please keep in mind that no changes can be accepted after this deadline.

  • When does competition start on Friday?
    • We try to start solo competition on Friday around 3:00 PM. Please note, some cities can start as early as 6:00 AM on Friday morning. If this is the case and your dancer can no longer make their allotted competition time, you have two options: 1. You can remove your dancers solo and we will offer a full refund for the solo fees, or 2. Your dancer can go out of category for adjudication only. Please let us know ahead of time if you need either of these accommodations.

  • How do I register as an independent without paying the $500 deposit?
    • You will need to visit our website to create an independent account, if you haven't done so already, then email over the dancer’s name, DOB, and any solo information (if applicable) and we will be happy to get your dancer registered. Please note independent balances must be paid in full at the time of registration in lieu of the deposit.

  • What does a typical weekend look like?
    • A typical Revive weekend will begin with competition Friday night in addition to optional bonus classes. These classes are open to any dancer registered for the convention. Wristbands and scholarship numbers are not required for these classes. Saturday will begin with competition and end with convention classes. Sunday will consist of the remainder of the convention classes followed by the Revue.
